Vryheid Karate Club – Karate-ka selected for Africa Cup Championships
These karate-ka participated in the trials on June 6 and managed to achieve a place in their respective divisions to represent South Africa at the Africa Cup later this year. This is a wonderful and hard-earned achievement.
The following karate-ka have been selected to represent SA JKA Karate at the Africa Cup Championship.
- Hasan Amra – Kata
- Muhammed Nazir Manjoo – Kumite
- Zaakir Hoosen – Kata
- Abdullah Jasat – Kumite
- Lee Bhoonpershad – Kumite
- Vishen Bhoonpershad – Kata
- Cailin Scott – Kumite
- Zurike Marais – Kumite
They will participate in the Kumite and Kata divisions to be held at the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg on September 26.
