The Clover Leaf Bulldogs played on Friday night at the University of KZN and lost the game 28-20.
Good running rugby was played, but an extra-strong home team on home ground got the better of the Bulldogs. The score was at one point difference in favour of UKZN until right at the end when the boys scored a try to secure the win.
The last game of the season was played, with the Clover Leaf Bulldogs second on the log. They are now awaiting a play-off at Woodburn Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.
We hope they can pull this through for a final game on home ground in Ladysmith.
