Vryheid Squash Club – Games played in good spirits
On the same evening, the draw will be done for the Blitz Bazaar League, which will be starting on Tuesday, August 4. This league will be held every Tuesday evening. THE Vryheid Squash Club hosted Dundee Squash Club this past Saturday, July 18.
It was a very competitive morning, but games were played in good spirit. After the games the rugby was watched and lunch was enjoyed together. After Vryheid had beaten Dundee on their home ground a few weeks ago, Vryheid also won at home with 5 – 4 matches and 18 – 14 games. Thank you to Mornè for coordinating with Dundee and for all the members who helped on the day, especially with the food.
The Winter League results are now available. On July 17 the team standings were as follows: Boots 66; Mittens 59; Beanies 58; Thermals 58; Earmuffs 55; Slippers 53; Scarves 42 and Jackets 32. The final results will be made known on Thursday, July 30, at the Squash Club.
