Water rise as angling season looms
Ahead of the new season, members of Breakwaters and Stillwaters will face off in the Champion of Champion clash, on August 2 at Sandford.
Two local angling clubs will be in hot water this weekend.
Ahead of the new season, members of Breakwaters and Stillwaters will face off in the Champion of Champion clash, on August 2 at Sandford.
Top anglers of the day will receive trophies to keep.
Angling Professional League (APL) representatives said the competition also doubled as an occasion for newcomers to competitive angling, to prepare for competition on August 16, also at Sandford.
“The season has several incentives and prizes on offer, which has the makings of an exciting and interesting time for anglers to pit their skills against one another.”
Affiliation is currently open.
New members who wish to join the ranks of the APL will be assigned to their team of choice, depending on the number of available spaces within each affiliated team.
The second competition takes place on August 30 at Richgate Park.
