Golfers defy inclement weather

Winners were Viren Omardath and Deejay Ramdhav with a nine hole score of 26 points

Last Saturday a club sponsored BBBS competition was played in rather adverse weather conditions. Thank you to the 20 golfers who elected to face the challenge of a cold day with a heavy downpour later restricting the comp to nine holes only.

Winners were Viren Omardath and Deejay Ramdhav with a nine hole score of 26 points. Second place went to Gordon Cross and Reuben Meades on 25 points and third place to Wilfie Laatz and Carlo Piagesti on 24 points.

Wilfie was closest to the pin on number three and there were no two clubs or jackpot winners. The Friday nine hole comp was won by Roy Ramkasoon scoring 21 points and the Wednesday comp winners were Tim Hume and Willem Erasmus. This Wednesday, July 29 (today) will be a BBBS comp and then on Saturday, August 1 the Lalparsad Attorneys Monthly Mug combined with the Ind Stab comps will be played.
