Excitement builds for upcoming Doctors Golf Day

Please note that there will be a chicken run on Wednesday, August 5, in the form of an IPS. On Friday, August 7, there will be a 9 hole competition in the form of an IPS.

The Dundee Country Club thanks the local doctors for organising and sponsoring the Doctors Golf Day in the form of an IPS. The day is in support of physical wellness through sport and will be played on August 8. The entrance fee is R150 and includes dinner, novelties and lots of prizes to be won. Golfers are urged to enter early as the field is filling up fast.

Ladies Open Day
Please note that on Sunday, August 9, the Dundee Country Club will be hosting a Ladies Open Day in the form of a 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford. The ladies have the courtesy of the course. On Monday, August 10, the ladies will be organising the Pink Ladies Day in the form of Thomb Stone. The Okkies se Bokkies. Please support.
T-Shirts 4 Afrika Day in aid of Pro Nobis
The club would like to thank Abrie Pretorious for organising, getting sponsors and sponsoring the T Shirts 4 Afrika Golf Day. There were lots of prizes on offer and a meal served afterwards.
We also had a good field of 84 players. The novelties winners were as follows: the longest drive for the men was Sifiso Kunene on hole 17 and the longest drive for the females was Debbie Catlett on number 10. Nearest to the pin was Gene Robson on number 4, Rob Streak on number 8, Natasha du Plessis on hole number 12 and Willie Maritz on number 16. Razak and Safrus Khan walked away the winners on 47 points. Kallie Roets and Henk Booysen

finished second on 45 points counted out from Coenie Munro, Mtho Kunene and Sibusiso Mthembu on 44 points. They were counted from father and son, Bruce and Mason Meyer, Elvis Sithebe, M Thusini, Debbie Catlett and KP Smith on 43 points. They were counted out from Silindo Khanyile, Jo Khumalo and Sifiso Kunene. The longest day winners were husband and wife, W and M Ackerman. The club would like to thank Dick Lemmer for sponsoring the chicken run on Wednesday. The winner was Coleen Hefer. The Friday a nine-hole competition, played in the form of an IPS, was won by Jurie Engelbrecht on 23 points.
