Docrats Angling Club hosted its AGM on July 25.
The afternoon started with the formalities and registration processes, ahead of the evening’s highlight of the awards ceremony.
During the season, club members fished competitively.
At the conclusion of the 2014/2015 Natal Fresh Water Angling Association (NFWAA) League, Docrats finished second behind Itec Freespool, and was victorious in the Knock-Out, defeating Dannhauser Angling Club.
Docrats also fished in the Champ of Champs, Club League and Knock-Out Doubles.
Awards on July 25 included the heaviest scaled fish, presented to Divesh Rughubeer for a 3,65 kilogramme catch, and the heaviest non-scaled fish, bagged at 12,19kg by Shervive Tedpaul.

The Champ of Champs winner was Shabeer Pullen, with Haroon Bosman and Vishal Dookhie in second and third respectively.
Vishal Dookhie was also the Club League winner.
The Association League winner was Shabeer Pullen, while the Knock-Out Doubles winners were Junaid Iqbal and Fazel Amod.
Shabeer also claimed the Angler of the Season crown.
