Ncandu Bowls Club under new leadership
Hannes Willemse will take the reins as the chairman of the Ncandu Bowls Club for the 2015/2016 period.
Hannes Willemse will take the reins as the chairman of the Ncandu Bowls Club for the 2015/2016 period.
The club hosted its Annual General Meeting on August 8, where members were tasked with electing a new committee.
The original committee was reappointed, with the exception of two members who resigned prior to the proceedings.
The newly elected committee is as follows:
– Hannes Willemse: Chairman.
– Johan Meaker: Deputy Chairman.
– Andrè Bouwer: Upkeep.
– Hettie Bouwer: Catering.
– Marius Bouwer: Additional member.
– Mart Browing: Additional member.
– Tertia Combrink: Secretary.
– Sannie Hartzenberg: Treasurer.
– Lukas Niemand: Competition secretary.
– Lu Theron: Upkeep of the greens.
– Schoeman Botha: Additional member.
Mr Botha was grateful for the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the committee during his term as chairman.
Despite the challenges faced both in the past and at present, the committee is positive it will overcome any and all obstacles.
Now under the watchful eye of Mr Willemse, the club hopes to grow from strength to strength.
