Vryheid Soccer Academy kept the visiting team on their toes, but eventually lost the match in a sudden death penalty shoot out.

ON SATURDAY, August 15, Vryheid Soccer Academy faced Kasi Boys FC in a breathtakingly close match at Cecil Emmett Sports Ground.

At halftime the scores were equal at 1 – 1, remaining level with a fulltime score of 2 – 2. The match went into extra time and both teams remained equal at 3 – 3. Still reeling after a great win two weeks ago, Vryheid Soccer Academy eventually suffered the blow of defeat, after the game was decided in a sudden death penalty shoot out, resulting in a 6 – 5 victory to the visiting team.
