Paintballers defend themselves until help arrives

The match was played on the basis of a scenario in which a convoy of US vehicles are on patrol and come under attack by insurgent forces

A paintball match was played on Saturday morning at ‘The Arena’ on the N11.

The match was played on the basis of a scenario in which a convoy of US vehicles are on patrol and come under attack by insurgent forces. The US soldiers have to stay with their vehicles and defend themselves until reinforcements arrive and extract them to a safe location.

The Ladysmith Paintball Team would like to convey a word of thanks to OR Singh Scrap Metal for the donation of wooden pallets for the arena. These will be used to put up obstacles on the field that the players can hide behind.

For anyone interested in joining the team or finding out more, contact Ryan on 073-667-9924.
