Last Saturday, September 5 the Monthly Mug combined with the Ind Stab competitions were played. Winner of both comps was Melton Schiever with a nett 67 and 41 points.

Vaughan Ric Hansen was second with 68 nett and 40 points on a count out from third placed Harry Koovarjee. Melton was closest to the pin on number two after two shots and Phiwe Mabaso closest on number three off the tee. Harry two clubbed number three and Vaughan number 16 but hats off to Carlo Piagesti who two clubbed number 10 nogal!

Melton won the jackpot with 11 points. We congratulate the prize winners and thank our sponsor Lalparsad Inc Attorneys. On Wednesday (today) will be a BBBS comp and then on Saturday, September 12 Ram’s Birthday Bash in the format of a Four Ball Alliance with two scores to count. This will be a shotgun start at 11am SHARP!

Fantastic prizes and supper will be provided! The Wednesday winners were Waldo van den Bergh and Simon Harper and the Friday nine hole winner Ram “Birthday Man” Ramwater with a score of 20 points.
