Time trials; Vasanthee in fine walking fashion
The time was not only just broken but it was destroyed... at Time trials
The times at Wednesday’s Time Trials was not only just broken but destroyed. In the 2km walk, Vasanthee smashed her time by walking in a time of 15m 55s, followed by Lani van der Mescht 21m 32s, Ria Nel 21m 33s and dead heaters, Luzanne van der Mescht and Maryna Pieters 22m 04s.
Ivan Naidoo showed his class in the 2km run by running an all time best of 11m 05s.
Nicky Williams could not believe her own worth when she destroyed the 3km ladies run record in a time of 13m 01s, followed by the over-consistent Jayruska Masalia 17m 58s.
Rikesh Takur, the 1st male runner, returned to his best from when he ran the 3km in an incredible time of 12m 59s.
