Oval Track ends 2015 with festive spirit

The Oval Track hosted a year-end function on December 16.
While the day focused on the highlights of the past year, it was officially dedicated to racers’ families.
“Our wives and children sacrifice a lot to support us during the year and on behalf of all the racers, we just wanted to thank our loved ones,” said Boet Buys, chairman of the Oval Track committee.
Children were able to enjoy a variety of activities, which included a slippery slide and a visit from Santa Claus.
With a festive spirit surging at the Oval Track, instead of the usual speeding cars, the day proved to be a memorable one for all who attended.
“On behalf of the Oval Track, we would just like to thank all our sponsors and spectators who supported us throughout the year and we hope that we can count on their continuous support in 2016,” Mr Buys concluded.
