Great golf was played last Saturday, February 6 in the Monthly Mug, Mug of Mugs and Grand Prix.

In the Mug of Mugs, closest in the Gerry’s Motors shoot out on number two went to Deejay Ramdhav. The Grand Prix went to Gordon Smith in first place with 76 points. Second was Fred Vickers with 69, third Wilfie Laatz on 49 points, fourth Gail Boettiger on 47 and in fifth place was Deejay Ramdhav with 42 points.

The Monthly Mug winner for February is Carlo Piagesti in first place with 68 points. Second was Phiwe Mabaso on 70 points and third Gordon Smith with 71 points.

In the Stableford, in first position was Carlo Piagesti with 40 points, second Phiwe Mabaso on 38 points and third was Bruce Laatz with 37 points.

Closest to pin on number three went to Phiwe Mabaso and number two for two was Philani Mabaso. The two club winner was Wilson Sibiya on numbers seven and 16, together with Philani Mabaso on number 17.

Dates to diarise for February: February 20 – Rotary sponsored day and February 27 – Sanlam Cancer Challenge.
