Mandla masters the Mug of Mugs
Forty six golfers showed up at Dundee Country Club on Saturday to compete, for not only the February Monthly Mug, but also for the title of Mug of Mugs for 2015.
Winning the B Division on a net 67 was Mandla Mthethwa, which was also the lowest net score for the day, and this earned him the elite title of Men’s Mug of Mugs for 2015. Joe Khumalo won the A Division on a net 68, followed up by Marc Nero on 69.
Vlooi Slabbert walked away with the Ladies Mug of Mugs for 2015 and the February Mug when wining her division on a net 75. Mel Jansen Van Rensburg won the ladies C Division on a net 81. The best gross score for the day was recorded by Jurie Engelbrecht with a one over par round of 72.
There were five players who managed to card a 2 Club and a share of the prize money. They were: M Jansen Van Rensburg and M Gardner on hole No.8; M Bradbury and J Khumalo on hole No.12, as well as C Mkwanazi on hole No.16.

February 20, the N.G. Kerk Golf Day, and February 27, the Glencoe Primary Sponsored Day. The Friday 11 Hole Meat competition has once again picked up momentum and players are urged to come out and enjoy 11 holes of golf on a Friday afternoon.
