Golfers challenged by the icy weather
Every player was seen wearing a minimum of two or three jerseys or jackets to keep themselves warm while out on the course
The icy cold weather on Saturday never deterred 32 golfers from participating in the Mother-In-Law Revenge golf day organised by the ladies section at Dundee Country Club.

The team of Richard Catlett, Mandla Mthethwa, Cyril Mkhwanazi and Robert Khumalo not only won the 4 Ball Alliance competition on 99 points, but were also the winners of the Snake Ball competition with 39 points, where the individual score of a player in the team counted on alternate holes.
Runner’s up in the alliance competition was the team of Barry Sandy, Danie Von Mollendorff, Willie Maritz and Henk Booysen on 96 points. The lucky winner of the raffle for the Mother’s Day hamper was Marc Bradbury.
The club will be having a Steak Evening, (each as much as you like), on Friday, May 26, and tickets are available at R120 per person and must be purchased by Wednesday, May 24 for catering purposes.
Forthcoming fixtures: Saturday, May 20, NG Kerk Golf Day and Saturday, May 27, is the Sanlam Cancer Challenge I.P.S. competition.
