Round Table’s Table Winter Warmth Bowls Final

The final round of the “The Round Table Winter Warmth” bowls challenge takes place tomorrow night and team ‘Rabco’, skippered by Bjorn Talanda, lead by two points over “Knight Riders’.

Out of contention but still fighting for third place are the ‘4 Amigo’s’ and ‘The Weasels’, both on eight points. Teams ‘Dreykon’ and ‘Toxic Socks’ will fight it out for the Stone.
The leader board is as follows: ‘Rabco’ 12 +22, ‘Knight Riders’ 10 +15, ‘4 Amigo’s’ 8 +15.

The club invites you to come down and enjoy the evening with us. Bring a blanket or a tin of food if you feel like supporting this wonderful cause. There will be food for sale on the evening.
The club once again is so proud of their ladies that took part in SA Nationals down in Cape Town over the past week. Sylvia Malan bowed out in the quarter-finals of the singles.

Nan Roos, made it through to the semi-finals where she, unfortunately, lost her game but then won bronze in the 3rd/4th place playoffs. Congratulations to you both and thank you for being such an inspiration to all at the club.

The club would like to wish the following members, Dougie Slabbert, Essie Slabbert, Greg Conolly, Jacques Bierbaum, Taryn Bierbaum, Jo-Ann Melville and Nan Roos good bowling at the KZNCB Inter Zone that takes place in Richards Bay this weekend.
