Estcourt Moths host fishing competition
Many of the competitors took along their family, who had a lovely time
Members of the Estcourt Memorable Order of Tin Hats (Moths) Club dusted off their fishing rods for a worthy cause over the weekend.
They headed out to the Tugela River in Winterton and set up camp there last Saturday and Sunday when they held their annual fishing competition.

A variety of fish were reeled in and the weather was perfect, although Saturday evening got chilly.
Many of the competitors took along their family, who had a lovely time. All the proceeds raised from the competition will be handed over to the Ikhaya Lethu Children’s Home in Colenso soon.
The winning fish was a carp weighing 2kg, caught by Kevin Adams. He won a R750 cash prize and a shopping voucher to the value of R750.

In second place was Nundoo and third was Raveen.
In a separate category, Mark Singh reeled in a 6.9kg barbel winning himself a R350 cash prize and a shopping voucher worth R350.
