At the 12 Bird Open competition in April, Johan Adendorff clinched first place, ahead of Lieb Swiegers and Quintus Oosthuizen respectively.
This competition was followed by the 15 Bird World Cup Fly.
Piet Bothma claimed first position here, he and his birds leading Lieb Swiegers, Ben Otto, Johan Adendorff and Quintus Oosthuizen in the top five.
May brought the 8 Bird Nomination competition.
Ben Otto sealed the victory in this event, followed by Johan Adendorff, Lieb Swiegers, Piet Bothma and Quintus Oosthuizen.
Yet there are plenty more victory opportunities to come.
The 12 Young Bird Open competition takes place on June 3, starting with Johan Adendorff at 7.30am and the next competitor flying every hour from there.
This takes place in the following order:
Quintus Oosthuizen at 8.30am, Piet Bothma at 9.30am and Lieb Swiegers at 10.30am, and Memel resident Ben Otto at 4pm.
