Tiekie dominates first races of the season

On Saturday, the first pigeon races of the 2017 season took place from Vrede (139km) and Paul Roux (180km).
Tiekie Crouse started with a bang and dominated by winning both races. The winning pigeon from Vrede flew an average speed of 80km/h and from Paul Roux, the average speed was 103km/h.

Vrede: Tiekie Crouse 1,2,24,25,26; Eric Holder 3,4,13,15,16,18,20,27; Mark Clayton 5,6,7,9; Labusch Lofts 10,11,12,14,23,29,30; Paul Manuel 17,19,21,22,28.
Paul Roux: Tiekie Crouse 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,17,18; Labusch Lofts 6,15,16; Mark Clayton 7,13,14,29,30; Jimmy Hanlon 10,19,20,25,26; Lewis Hay 11; Bloodstock Lofts 12,21,22,23,24; Paul Manuel 27,28.
This coming weekend, the sprint series continues from Senekal and Standerton.
Hauser Park Pigeon Club also had the raffle draw over the weekend. Congratulations to the following winners: first prize of a kudu – G Senekal; second prize of a blesbuck – Paddy; third prize of a sheep – L Pitout.
