Ladysmith woman is patroller of the year
This award has never been presented to any inland member of Lifesaving South Africa before
On July 29, the annual awards ceremony for Lifesaving South Africa was held at Blue Waters Hotel in Durban.
Miss Kim Thomas from Aquafin Swimming and Lifesaving (Egerton Primary School) received the ‘Stillwater Patroller of the Year’ award.
Kim received this award in acknowledgement and recognition of the most duty hours patrolled at a Stillwater Club in one year, a total of 253 hours.
This award has never been presented to any inland member of Lifesaving South Africa before.
Congratulations must go to Kim, as her dedication and love for lifesaving is of an incredibly high standard and she completely deserves this recognition.
“We are very proud of Kim and all she gives to lifesaving,” said Mr Mike Rubenheimer, president of Lifesaving KZN.
