Representing Estcourt Bowling Club at the tournament is Mandy Jones.

Estcourt Bowling Club hosted 14 teams during the Estcourt Trips Tournament held on August 9.

Teams from Harrismith, Bergville and Ladysmith participated in the tournament, which consisted of three rounds, two with 12 ends and the afternoon game consisting of 15 ends.

Bowlers from across KwaZulu-Natal supported the Trips Tournament on Wednesday.

There was a competitive spirit in the air as well as socialising.

Winners on the day were Herman and Marieta Stoop and Jess Thompson and in second place were Gavin Govender and father and son team Vivian and Nkanyiso Ntshalintshali. Both teams are from Estcourt.

The club would like to thank the sponsors, players and spectators for being part of the tournament.

Visit the club on Friday evenings and support the curry night and socialising.
