Committed Weenen clubs receive a boost

Six football and six netball clubs were present for their league matches

The Department of Sport and Recreation visited the Weneen Football and Netball League under the Club Development Programme recently.

Clubs were supported with basic sporting equipment to ensure the sustainability of the leagues. Six football and six netball clubs were present for their league matches.

Despite not having the proper facilities for the games, the clubs are very passionate and committed to ensuring that the game goes on.
