Youngsters enjoy playing basketball in Ladysmith
The aim was to promote the sport by letting both genders take part
An under 13 basketball tournament was held at the Ezakheni Enyokeni sports ground recently.
It was a whole day event where young and old gathered to watch the youngsters play.
Various teams from out of town participated.
The aim was to promote the sport by letting both genders take part and enjoy the competitive action.
Four districts – Amajuba District, Uthukela, Zululand and Mzinyathi – were represented at the basketball tournament.
The organisers would like to extend their appreciation to all the sponsors and the community for their help and support.
It definitely was a fun and challenging tournament for all who participated.
