Cricket games called off due to weather
Shaun and Fakhar took 3 wickets each as Tigers bowled out as Predators for 86. Tigers won by 64 runs, however, it was a much-improved performance from the NDH Predators.
T20 Night League: Molls vs Ace Eagles
The game was rained out without a single ball being bowled. Both teams shared the points.
Farmers vs Pakistan Lions
Farmers won the toss and batted first. They managed to make 125 for 5 from their allotted overs thanks to Gert top scoring with 31 and Joff chipping in with 28. Zeze took 2 for 24 for Paki Lions who managed to make 20 for no loss when the rain came down. The match could not be completed and the teams shared the points.
Saturday 30 Over League:
Farmers vs Brothers United
The game was called off without a ball being bowled because of a wet pitch. The teams shared the points.
Ace Eagles vs Pakistan Lions
Ace won the toss and elected to bat. This proved to be a disastrous choice as they were bowled out for a mere 47 runs. Ashfaq and Dean both took 5 wickets apiece as they ripped through the Eagle’s batting line up. Pakistan Lions went into bat and were 2 for the loss of 1 wicket when the rains came down. Both teams shared the points.
Sunday 50 Over League:
Molls vs Brothers United
Molls batted first and made a huge 400 for 7 from their 50 overs. Youngster Willem scored a brilliant 136 off 111 balls. His knock included 14 fours and 5 sixes. He was aided by fellow youngster Jan-Frederick who scored an impressive 71.
Henk also chipped in with 51 not out and Eugene made a handy 47. Yehyeh, also a youngster, took 2/61 for Brothers.
In reply, they could only score a mere 98 runs.
Pravir stood tall with 35 runs. Molls won by a record margin of 302 runs and claimed all the points.
Tigers vs NDH Predators
Tigers batted first and made a reasonable 150 all out. Vernon and Fakhar both made 45 for Tigers. Zaheer took his second fiver of the season, finishing with figures of 5/33, while Logan took 3 for 30.
Predators started the chase well but were soon in trouble and were no match for the Tiger’s bowlers. Andrew showed some fight, scoring 38.
