On Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club had their monthly mug sponsored by Mortimer Toyota.

Winning on a 70 nett four way count out was Philip Boshoff, adding the April mug to his January one of this year.
Second went to Gail Boettiger and third to Rajen Goodoon with Fred Vickers in fourth.

Rajen had the best stableford score on the day with a well played 39 points. Closest for two on the second went to Philip Boshoff who also got a birdie. George van Niekerk won the closest to the pin on number three but left his birdie putt on the edge of the cup. Bunn Hamman won the jackpot with a well played 12 points. Gordan Smith and Fred Vickers had a two club each, on the 12th and 16th respectively.

On Monday, an individual stableford competition was played, which Garth Fairfield won. George van Niekerk won the Friday nine hole competition with 22 points. Then on Sunday, eight Estcourt golfers took part in the third round of Midlands League hosted by Howick Golf Club. Bruce Marx and Ledley Hume won their singles for Estcourt 1 and then Garth Fairfield, Philip Boshoff and Shaun Hughes won their singles for Estcourt 2.

The next league fixture will be at Sakabula where Estcourt 1 will play against Estcourt 2; currently Estcourt 2 is one point ahead of Estcourt 1 on the log.

A reminder to all members, the Mortimer Toyota Club Champs will take place over Saturday and Sunday on April 21 and 22, there will be three divisions and the club urges you to get your names down as soon as possible.
