Time for the Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge
There will be strict security and right of admission reserve

One of the area’s biggest sporting events, the Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge, is around the corner and it is all systems go for the event to be held from May 3-6 at the Kallies Stadium, Dundee.
Cycling is a new event on the programme and around 114 children, representing eight schools, will compete. KZN Cycling Development will be supplying the bicycles and the helmets with the support of the Department of Sport and Department of Education.
Kids who are competing in cycling are urged to use casual shoes eg. takkies. “Thanks to Pat Sithole’s for supplying his sound system,” said organiser, Ash Khan, adding that this represents a major boost to sports in Endumeni.

“Many children are hard at work training for the different sports codes which are soccer, cricket, netball, chess, boxing and cycling.”
Armbands can be bought at R85 for May 3-4 from Ruby Gopie in Dundee (083 724 0122) or Skumbuzo Ndebele in Glencoe. The price of the arm bands includes the entry fee, unlimited rides at the funland, inflatables and the horror tent. Arm bands are now on sale.
Strictly no alcohol, weapons or drugs will be allowed at the event and any person caught will be dealt with harshly by the law. No pass outs will be permitted.
