Bruce Marx is crowned Mortimer Toyota Club Champ at Estcourt Golf Club

Estcourt Golf Club had their Club Champs competition this past weekend sponsored by Mortimer Toyota. The competition took place over two days with 18 holes medal on each day.

The leader board for each of the three divisions after day one was extremely close with just a shot or two separating the top spots, which increased the pressure for the final round on Sunday.
In the end, Bruce Marx played a two under par front nine, which helped him to a nine shot winning margin, 151 gross, and he was crowned the Estcourt Golf Club Champ for 2018, to add to his 2017 title.
Luke Schiever was placed second and Jeremy Brown third by means of a count out on a gross 160.

The B division was won by Owen Mcluckie on 160 with Fred Vickers second on 164 and Arnold Fortmann third on 166.
The C division was won by Shane Mothilal with a gross score of 179, Arnold Boettiger second on 184 and Muki Ghasitha third on 187.
Gail Boettiger was crowned Ladies Club Champ and she also won the overall best nett on 137.
