Umtshezi Darts Association was formed in 2012 and since then the club has been thriving.

Each Thursday evening, Club Las Vegas in Shepstone Avenue comes alive with the sounds of swishing darts and shouts of elation or defeat as the members meet for their weekly games.

At last year’s prize giving Chairperson Alan Anandparsad commended members on their dedication in seeing the club growing and competing in national and provincial competitions.

The darts club has also welcomed the addition of a female team, whose members have shown determination and displayed competitive spirit.

Eight players will be competing in the South African National Championships in Johannesburg from July 9-14. Last Wednesday the club members were proud to don their new T-shirts that were sponsored by Mr de Waal.
