Estcourt Golf: 51 players for Melton’s Skaap Dag
The fourball consisting of two past Estcourt Open winners, D and R McDonald, and P Wagenaar and G van Niekerk
On Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club hosted its monthly Skaap Dag, this time sponsored by Melton Schiever.

51 players took to the course in perfect conditions and in the end the fourball consisting of two past Estcourt Open winners, D and R McDonald, and P Wagenaar and G van Niekerk walked away as winners on 101 points.
There was a three way count out for second spot and it was the team of B Hall, C Piagesti, O Mcluckie and W Laatz who had the better back nine and took second place.

The only two clubs on the day went to R McDonald on the seventh and W Laatz on the 16th. On Wednesday, 21 players took part in a betterball format with Henry Honiball and Colin van Wyk winning on 48 points.
The Captains 3’s at 3 saw Garth Fairfield win the best gross and Bun Hamman the best nett. A reminder to all members, this coming Saturday is the Mortimer Monthly Mug, the true test of golf.
