Training our future cricket stars

Training sessions take place every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 11am at Agra Grounds

There are lots of young and aspiring cricketers in the community of Ladysmith, many of whom attend training sessions hosted by FNS Cricket Coaching over weekends.

Dedicated coaches are on hand to give assistance.

The young ones can be seen practicing their batting and bowling, allowing them to bond as they further improve their skills.

When they aren’t practicing with one another, they can be seen in full kit, facing balls being bowled at them by a newly-purchased bowling machine. This really puts their skills to the test and allows the coaches to see exactly what areas of their technique need attention.

Many parents also come along to watch their children from afar and cheer them on.

These training sessions take place every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 11am at Agra Grounds.

Over 30 children are involved, steadily improving their batting, bowling and fielding, not to mention their overall level of fitness.

For more information on these training sessions, you can contact Faroek on 0721001007.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to help your child further his or her cricket career and maybe go on to play for the Proteas one day.
