Estcourt Golf: Get ready for Sanlam Cancer Golf Day

This coming Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club will host their annual Sanlam Cancer Golf Day. This is a fundraiser for a worthy cause and the club urges all golfers to support Alicia and her team from Sanlam, where division winners progress to regional competitions.

Results from the past week include Gail Boettiger winning on Saturday on 41 points, then on June 6; the club hosted the Midway Restaurant and Fuel Wednesday competition which was won by George van Niekerk and Paul Wagenaar.
A big thank you to Simon Harper from Midway Restaurant who has committed to sponsoring two Wednesday competitions per month with the next date for the Midway Restaurant Compo being the June 20.
Another date to enter into your golfing diary will be July 21 where Estcourt Golf Club will host the annual St Gregory Primary School Golf Day.

On Sunday, the fifth round of the Midlands League took place at Bosch Hoek Golf Estate, Estcourt 1 played against Gowrie 2 and Estcourt 2 came up against league leaders Howick 1, both teams from Estcourt halved their respected end results six points all with the following golfers getting individual wins:
Bruce Marx, Deejay Ramdhav and Rishi Goodram. Philip Boshoff managed to draw his match play to remain unbeaten after five rounds of league.
