Sunday School children walk to raise awareness
The little ones made their own placards and banners to carry with them as they walked

A fun-walk for children took place on Saturday morning in Steadville. Participating in the walk were youngsters who are part of the Children’s Ministry of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa (Ladysmith and Jononoskop circuit).
Their Sunday School teachers also went on the walk.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness of child abuse and the dangers of drugs, bearing in mind that it was Youth Day.
The walk started from Rooi Section and ended at the Methodist Church in Steadville.
A Public Safety officer was on hand to make sure all the children were safe on the road.
The little ones made their own placards and banners to carry with them as they walked.
Well done to the children for braving the cold and walking for a good cause.
