Drakensberg Boys Choir School host Cincinnati Boychoir

On Sunday some of the boys decided it was time to get ready for the Polar Bear Challenge

Tungay Boys from the Drakensberg Boys Choir School enjoyed hosting the Cincinnati Boychoir and showed them how to make stokbrood.

The end result was more dough and syrup on clothes and the ground than the photo shows. On Sunday some of the boys decided it was time to get ready for the Polar Bear Challenge.

They trooped and biked down to the river but, much to the boys’ dismay, the river was really low.

Nevertheless, in true Drakie style, they hopped in, climbed onto the tubes and slowly floated amongst the rocks to get to Russell’s Pool.

After lots of shouting and screaming about how cold it was, they all had a turn and then hurried back to school for a hot shower.
