Igeu ‘Smiley’ Kabesa spotted in Durnacol

Igeu is now a popular MMA fighter and competes in the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC)

There were many champions crowned over the past weekend when Durnacol hosted the South African Wrestling Championships, but there was one champion who may not have been a familiar face to all.

Igeu ‘Smiley’ Kabesa, a former 10 time national wrestling champion, was also watching the action.

Igeu is now a popular MMA fighter and competes in the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC). He is the currrent EFC Featherweight Champion and has won 10 of his 11 fights in the organisation, only losing out to Scotland’s, Daniel Henry.

Nicknamed Smiley, because he’s also got a smile on his face no matter the situation, Igeu has devastating knock-out powers and impressive submission skills.

Kabesa last fought in March when he defeated Brazilian, Paulo SIlva, by TKO in round 2.
