Ncandu Clubs bowlers celebrate Women’s Day
After the prize-giving, Ncandu Bowls Club hosted its AGM and announced the members of its new committee.
The Ncandu Bowls Club celebrated Women’s Day with a friendly competition last Thursday afternoon (August 9).
After an interesting afternoon of bowling action, members gathered for the annual prizegiving function, where players were awarded for successes over the past season.

Trophies were presented to the following bowlers:
Women’s Singles – Sannie Hartzenberg.
Men’s Singles – Jaco Heunis.
Mixed Pairs – André and Hettie Bouwer.
Mens’s Drawn Pairs – Hannes Willemse
Women’s Drawn Pairs – Titia Engelbrecht and Hettie Bouwer.
Women’s Handicap Singles – Sannie Hertzenberg.
Men’s Handicap Singles – Jaco Heunis.
Men’s Nominated Pairs – Hannes Willemse and Jaco Heunis.
Women’s Nominated Pairs – Titia Engelbrecht and Marina Boshoff.
Women’s Nominated Mixed Fours – Cor Horsten, Johanna le Roux and Jan and Stencia Esterhuizen.
Drawn Mixed Fours – Hannes Willemse, Hettie Bouwer, Clyde Weber and Johanna le Roux.
Most Improved Woman Bowler – Marina Boshoff.
Most Improved Man Bowler – Wayne Klose.
