True Moth comradeship on the bowling green
Club Singles The Club Singles competition will take place this coming Saturday.

Things are getting busy at the Dundee Bowling Club with the Super Knock Out Challenge drawing to a close this coming Thursday evening, the Club singles will be played this coming Saturday and the much anticipated Rotary Business League starts on Monday, September 3. Preparations for the annual Friedmann Tournament are well underway too.
Corrie Lundin Moths Trophy
Moths from around the district, including Harrismith, gathered at the bowls club on Sunday for the Corrie Lundin Tournament. The hosts, Endumeni Isandlwana Moth Shellhole, managed to stave off tough competition from Monte Stanco to take the honours. It was even more special this year as 2018 marks the 50th passing of Corrie Lundin – a local Moth who founded the tournament. His daughter, Irene, was there to present the prizes. The Dundee Bowls side took the non-Moth section amid much merriment and true comradeship.
Super Knock Out Challenge
In the Cup division, there are the Cherrybums playing Langfontein, in the Plate division FedAuto will play Sarel Cilliers, in the Bowl division, 3 Jacks and 1 Gill will play the Blue Lions and in the Shield division, Willie and his team will play against Sheryl and her team.
Braai fires will be lit so bring along your basket, family and friends and enjoy the evening with them. Club Singles The Club Singles competition will take place this coming Saturday. Members who would like to play are urged to put their names on the list at the Club as soon as possible.
AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Dundee Sports Club (Bowls) will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 6pm at the Club. Motions for discussion must be submitted in writing and handed to Mrs Sylvia Malan, Club President, at least seven days prior to the meeting.
