SPORT: Bowlers spring into action
The popular FedAuto Business League is due to start next month and will run from September 11 to November 29.
The monthly FedAuto meat competition played on ‘Spring Day’, attracted a field of keen bowlers eager to take home some rich pickings for a spring braai.
The winner with 10 points was the team of Ron Howe, evergreen Ernie Phillips, Solly Cronje and Edith Pretorius.
Also taking home something for the pot was second placed Joan Schoon, Martie Pepler, Lou Roux and Eleen Roux (8 + 17).

Members are reminded that afternoon tabs in time is once again 1.45pm, for play to start at 2pm.
