SWIMMING: Aqua Adrenaline is in it for the long haul

Although still early in the season, many of them swam personal best times.

From August 24 to 26, 13 Aqua Adrenaline swimmers competed at the Beavers Swim Club’s Winter Long Course Championships at the Kings Park Pool.

The following swimmers earned medals at the championships:

Girls 13 and over:

Emma Branco-Lizen – bronze for 200 metre fly.

Girls 15 and over:

Nerissa Fourie – bronze for 200m freestyle.

Minette Janse van Vuuren – silver for 50m freestyle, silver for 100m freestyle.

Boys 15 and over:

Ruan Janse van Vuuren – bronze for 100m fly.
