6 clubs to battle it out this season

With the unfortunate passing of three Honorary Life Vice-Presidents over the past season, the three vacant positions are to be filled via nominations in the NDCU.

Nominations should be made in writing with the details of the nominator and the details of the nominee, together with relevant motivation for the nomination. As per the constitution, Honorary Life Vice-Presidency of the Union may only be conferred on previous or current presidents or office bearers of the Union who have served in an official capacity for a minimum period of five years.

The Northern District Cricket Union is in the process of compiling a database of all qualified umpires and coaches in order to further qualifications and create opportunities. Any individuals who are interested in completing either the umpires course or coaching course to be part of the panel of umpires and coaches are urged to make contact with the below union representatives.

These courses are available to everyone, including scholars.

Six clubs will be taking each other on this season. Callies CC, DC CC, K&L CC, Kings IX CC, Players CC and Wanderers CC will be going for the top spots and the trophies.
