Crowning glory for Sandile
The 22-year-old won his fifth straight competition when he took first place at the National Bodybuilding Championships

Sandile King continues to rule over the bodybuilding kingdom.
The 22-year-old won his fifth straight competition when he took first place at the National Bodybuilding Championships in Rustenburg. Sandile, who competes in the Junior u/23 over 75kg category, has won at every competition he’s competed at so far, despite only taking up the sport one and a half years ago.
“I’ve always had a love for gyming but only started proper training recently” At first, it was tough for Sandile to adapt to a more tougher training schedule, but now it’s paying off. Every morning he’s up at 5am for gym, before going to work. After work, it’s then back to more cardio. He also follows a stringent diet. As Sandile looks back at his success, he had huge praise for those who helped him along the way.
“A huge thank you to Cosmic Transport who have really helped me with food, transport and accommodation for competitions and always support me.”
Sandile also thanked Vinesh from The Lan and Pieter Bester from the Guinea Fowl as well as friends and family for their support.
Sandile next competes in the Gentle Giant Classic in Johannesburg on October 26 and will be looking to make it six out of six wins.
