On Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club hosted its monthly Skaap Dag, this time sponsored by Blurock Quarry.

A big thank you to Jeremy Hunter Smith and his team for the great day.

Mutton prizes far down the field plus a braai afterwards made sure that all golfers had a great day.

Winning on the day after a four-way count out on 45 points was the husband and wife team of Bruce and Delia Le Roux. Bruce Hall and Wilfie Laatz in second, Kammy Baboolal and Deejay Ramdhav third and Gordon Smith and Carlo Piagesti fourth.

Luke Schiever won the prize for the closest to the pin on the 16th but failed to get the two club, which resulted in Kammy getting the only two club on the day on hole seven. The jackpot was won on 13 points by Joe Mabaso and Harry Koovarjee.

Then there was a closest for two on the fourth, which was won by Sam Sewsunker.

A reminder to all golfers, Estcourt Golf Club will be hosting the final round of league this coming Sunday, so the course will be closed for any social golf.

This coming Saturday, the club will host the monthly Mortimer Toyota Mug.
