Cosmic Transport are making big waves in the sporting world.
The company were recently given the honour of presenting the two major awards at the sporting showcase.
The 2018 KZN Sport Awards were held at the Durban ICC. Patricia De Beer, Preshu and Octavia Singh, Sbo Khulu and Michelle de Beer represented Cosmic at the glitzy and glamorous event. Mrs de Beer had to do the presentations for five categories. She described what a nerve wrecking experience it was walking up that stage, but also what a humbling experience it was to be asked to present the awards.
Netball star, Bongiwe Msomi bagged the prestigious Sportswoman of the Year award for the second year in succession. International swimmer Henri Schoeman was crowned Sportsman of the Year.
The Sportswoman of the Year with a Disability award went to Melisa Ann O’Neil while Aaron Alois Putz was chosen as Sportsman of the Year with a Disability.
Maritzburg United won the Team of the Year award. The event was attended by the KZN Premier, Mr Willies Mchunu, National Minister of Sport and Recreation, Ms Thokozile Xasa and her provincial counterpart, Mrs Bongi Sithole-Moloi.
