Five different lives, one dream: help them make a mark
They require running shoes to participate in races and fun runs
Lungelo Khumalo, Simphiwe Mdakane, Sbonelo Khumalo, Sphephelo Xaba and Msawathe Mvelase are all eager to fly the Estcourt flag high for athletics.

They are determined to make their mark in the sporting field but their financial situation hampers them. Therefore these five lads need your help, as these boys aged between 15- 22 years-old, seek a sponsor.
They require running shoes to participate in races and fun runs. Four of the five are learners at Hlathikhulu High School, completing grades nine to 12.
Lungelo Khumalo, who is the founder of this group of youngsters, would like to call on other active boys and girls to join them.

“We love athletics but we cannot join many of the local athletic clubs because we don’t have the required gear. We would appreciate any sort of help, as this keeps the few of us off the streets and away from the wrong activities. We enjoy keeping fit and exercising,” he explained.
Their highlight for this year was being part of the Mandela Marathon at the Howick Capture Site as well as the Family Fun Run in Estcourt where they achieved first place.
