Docrats Angling club fished their Champ of Champs round 1 and Knock out round 1 this weekend at Richgate park.

Docrats Angling club fished their Champ of Champs round 1 and Knock out round 1 this weekend at Richgate park. Anglers starting queuing at the gate as early as Saturday evening despite the cold and rainy weather. 5 teams competed to secure 4 places in the knockouts and the fishing was very competitive.
Chelmsford secured 1st position with 59 points, Docrats 2nd position with 43 points, Freespool 3rd place with 41 points and Endumeni secured the fourth position beating Riverside 35 points to 34 points respectively.
The top four advance through to the second round. The angler with the heaviest scale fish on the day was Afzal Ebrahim from Docrats Angling club tipping the scales at 4.425 kgs and Clinton Moodley caught the heaviest non-scale fish for Docrats Angling club.
