Weekend of great golf is anticipated in Estcourt
Some great names, including the likes of James Kamte and many more, will be present
On Sunday, Estcourt Golf Club will host its main event of the year, the Estcourt Open. This year’s event has potential to be the best ever with one of the strongest fields to date.

There are seven golfers with a plus handicap, four who are playing off scratch and then 36 golfers with single figure handicaps.
The golf starts on Friday with a fourball alliance sponsored by BluRock Quarries and Orange Grove. On Saturday will be a standard betterball competition, also sponsored by BluRock Quarries and Eskort Pty Ltd.
Both these days still have slots available. The main event on Sunday, sponsored by Eskort Pty Ltd, is full and the club would like to remind all golfers that the course is closed for any social golf over the weekend.

If anyone would like to be spectators, you are more than welcome. Some great names, including the likes of James Kamte and many more, will be present.
On Saturday, a betterball competition was won by Harry Koovarjee and Paul Fick. Then on Sunday, nine Estcourt golfers travelled to Noodsberg to take part in the Midlands Closed.
Some individual results were as follows: Bruce Marx third in Division A. Ledlie Hume best nett in Division B. Herman Dlamini won the best nett in division A. Deejay Ramdhav third overall in Division C.
