Bowls bells jingled at Eventide Day

A wonderful, much needed, sum of money was collected for Eventide, a huge thanks to Debbie and Greg for their organising as well as to the players and the community in general who supported this wonderful event.

The Tri-Star Business League came to an end this past Thursday evening.

Only one game was played but all eyes were on the top four teams to see who would walk away with the honours. Unfortunately, things did not go according to plan for Langfontein and BB Transport as Sarel Cilliers pulled out a win, picking up two points, and taking top honours. Langfontein came second and BB Transport third.

It was Brokkies and his team who took the stone along with a carrot or two! A huge thank you to Tri-Star for their sponsorship. A number of challenges have been made so come down to the Club this Thursday evening to see who will be challenging who… it promises to be an exciting evening!
