Estcourt’s rugby fanatic jets off to Ireland
Wikus, as well as his fellow team mates, departed from the OR Tambo International Airport on December 1
18-year-old Wikus Jacobs and his team mates boarded a plane to Ireland last Tuesday for the Vision Sport under 19 team rugby tour.

Hard work, lots of practice and fundraising finally assured the lad a ticket to Ireland.
Wikus, as well as his fellow team mates, departed from the OR Tambo International Airport on December 1.
The team is set to return on December 9 from the rugby tour at which Wikus represented Estcourt on foreign rugby fields.

“Once again, a hearty thanks to everyone that contributed in making my son’s dream a reality,” expressed his mum, Esme Jacobs.
