Greenkeeper makes the big money
Alma and Andre Meyer were the day’s winning pair, ahead of Wayne Krog and Karel Swanepoel in second place and Dons de Kock and Pierre Uys in third place.

Golfers paid their dues at the Kilbarchan Golf Club at the beginning of November.
As the owner of most of the course’s golf carts, greenkeeper Johan Hugo went into an agreement with the club committee that in lieu of hiring out said carts, he would host a competition, during which funds raised would benefit the club.

Thus at the beginning of November, a large field of 51 golfers competed in the Greenkeepers Better Ball competition, raising approximately R20 000 for the club excluding expenses.
The club is pleased with the turnout for the day.
