Rolling along those ‘woods’ to get close to the little white ball called the jack… That’s what bowlers were doing recently at Ladysmith Country Club.

The scorching heat did not seem to deter the friendly bowlers, as they expertly read the green to know exactly how much ‘grass’ and ‘turn’ they needed.
As always with the game of bowls, there was lots of friendly banter and camaraderie amid the fierce competition.
Music blared out, with some of the cheery bowlers even singing along to their favourite song while they played.
